End-to-end — a WhatsApp order, on chain

  1. 1A customer chats with a brand's Chatza bot on WhatsApp and places an order.

  3. 3The Compliance Filter confirms consent; the Identity Mapper resolves the customer's wallet.
  4. 4The Intent Router builds a signed intent: register the session hash, mint an engagement reward, and open a payment escrow.

South African consumers and merchants are price-sensitive — volatile reward tokens would undermine trust. Rewards settle in stablecoins for a predictable experience, while CZ captures platform upside for long-term participants and governance.

What exactly is Chathoodz?+

Chathoodz is the consumer-facing name of the Chatza Bridge Protocol — a middleware gateway and audited smart-contract suite that connects Chatza's omnichannel chat platform to the Robinhood Chain Layer-2. It turns everyday customer conversations into verifiable, composable on-chain events.

Do customers need to hold crypto or pay gas?+

No. The protocol is gasless by default: merchants sponsor customer gas via programmable wallets, so end users never need to hold ETH. Standard wallets — including Robinhood Wallet — connect directly.

Is my customer data put on the blockchain?+

Never. Only hashes and zero-knowledge proofs are recorded on-chain. Raw transcripts stay in encrypted, South Africa-resident storage, preserving Chatza's "data never leaves South Africa" commitment and satisfying POPIA and GDPR.

How do disputes work?+

Payments flow through an escrow-based router. Either party may open a dispute before release; it is resolved by an adjudicator (multi-sig) or by timeout refund. Merchants must submit a signed fulfilment proof to trigger settlement.

Is this a token sale or financial offering?+

No. The whitepaper is a technical proposal for ecosystem review — not investment, legal, or financial advice, and not an offer or solicitation of securities in any jurisdiction. All figures and timelines are planning assumptions to be validated through the phased roadmap.

When is it live?+

The protocol follows a gate-based roadmap: a testnet proof-of-concept first, then a payments-and-loyalty MVP with 10 pilot merchants, then trust and tokenization, then scale and real-world assets. Each phase starts only when the previous phase's metrics are met.
